We will now demonstrate the Ryukyu Glass Star Sand experience.

Select a glass plate
Select a glass plate of your choice of shape.
Triangular and Rectangular plates
Experience fee: JPY 5,900 (incl. tax)
While dolphins, Turtles, Hearts, Crescent moons, Statues, etc.
Experience fee: JPY 9,000 (incl. tax)
Remove the tape and place the glass on the plate
If there is yellow tape on the glass plate you have chosen, remove the tape.
Place the white glass on the plate so that the smooth side of the glass is on the back
and the rough or bumpy side is on the front.
Drawing lines with magic
With a magic pen or marker, draw three or four lines on the glass plate.
These lines will be used as a reference at a later stage.
Selecting and arranging glass colours
Select four or five of the ten glass colours.
Using a spoon or similar, spoon the chosen glass-coloured material and
place the glass powder inside the magic line using a brush or bamboo skewer.
Putting the glasses together
Use a brush or bamboo skewer to put the glasses together so that they fit within the magic line.
If there are any surplus colours, return them to the same colour.
If the colours are mixed, remove the mixture with a brush.
Placement of star sands
Select and place three star sands in the central part of the glass plate.However,
do not place star sands at the edges of the glass plate.
Positioning the fittings
Finally, a transparent glass plate is placed on top to complete the project. The fittings are usually placed at the bottom of the piece.
Filling in delivery address and shipping Once the artwork is complete, write down the delivery address.
A shipping fee of 550 yen is charged for domestic delivery (overseas delivery is not included).
The finished piece is fired and the fittings are attached.
You will receive your artwork in approximately two weeks.
